Kabayanihan 2013

We were part of the 'Dark Violet' team. :)

Colorful isn't it? Yeah! All high school learners were scattered into different teams. I forgot how many teams there were. They had a specific color and Greek names. This was the first activity during the 'Kabayanihan'. This year was surely unforgettable. We had different games and everything and learned to cooperate with our teammates. Sadly, our last game was too dangerous to play. So when some of the learners were rushed to the clinic our facilitators announced to stop the game. What was the game? Each team designed their own flag. Then we were given a spot around the campus. All we need to do was to protect our flags from the other groups. While our other teammates was protecting our flag. The rest of us should try to get the other teams' flag. But here's a twist, our hands and feet were tied with our other teammates (as a pair or triad) It wasn't that easy to move. So while running around looking for a space or chance to steal the other teams' flag some of the players got scratches on their wrists because of the plastic rope tied to there hands. And some were already getting mad about the pushing, hitting and everything. We wasn't able to finish the game :( But at least we were able to learn something. Not everything is about winning. We should still think about others. If we hurt someone just to win that ain't good. Being guilty after winning isn't right. In other to win and be happy at the same time, we should play it fair. At the end of the day everyone was saying sorry to each other which was a good things. #ASSUMPTIONSPIRIT #LIVEANDSHARETHEFAITH <3
